‘A Dog’s Purpose’ First Trailer Brings the Tears


Happy #NationalDogDay: Besides cuddling your favorite canine, don’t miss the first trailer for “A Dog’s Purpose.” Based on the best-selling book by W. Bruce Cameron, the movie follows a dog through several lives and several owners as he (and sometimes she) tries to find the meaning of life.

The heart of the story is his relationship with the boy who grows up to be Dennis Quaid

Seeing the dog (voiced by “Frozen” star Josh Gad, aka Olaf the Snowman) retrieve a forgotten old deflated football he played with in a previous lifetime¬† will surely have you dabbing away tears.

The film, directed by Lasse Hallström, opens on January 27, 2017.
