Ewan McGregor, Anne Hathaway and their family get some unwanted visitors when dinosaurs suddenly appear in their neighborhood in this thriller from the director of “It Follows.”
Coyote Vs. Acme (August 28)
This once-shelved film is finally hitting theaters on August 28, thanks to fans who rallied for Warner Bros. to release it. Emmy-winning voiceover artist Eric Bauza is Wile E. Coyote, who hires a lawyer (Will Forte) to sue Acme after years of defective products. The cast includes John Cena, Lana Condor, Luis Guzmán, and “9-1-1” star Kenneth Choi.
Werwulf (December 25)
Robert Eggers follows up his vampire tale “Nosferatu” with “Werwulf,” set in 13th-century England. Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars along with Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, Simon McBurney and Ralph Ineson.
Jumanji: Open World (December 25)
The third film in this franchise (or fourth, if you count the 1995 Robin Williams film) brings back the main four actors from the two previous films — Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black — who, this time, are stuck in the demo mode for the characters … in the real world!
Bebe Neuwirth (who played Nora Shepherd, the aunt and legal guardian of Judy and Peter in the1995 film) already rejoined the franchise in “Jumanji: The Next Level” as the owner of Nora’s restaurant but, based on the trailer, she might have a bigger role to play this time around.

Remarkably Bright Creatures
Sally Field plays a widow who works at a Washington state aquarium in this adaptation of the book by Shelby Van Pelt. The shy octopus Marcellus rarely shows himself to visitors, but is happy to let Field’s character talk to him as she cleans his tank. They’re both initially suspicious of the aquarium’s new hire, a stranded musician (Lewis Pullman), but he soon becomes a trusted friend.
