In the second trailer for “The Secret Life of Pets,” cats, dogs and a rabbit bring chaos  to a Christmas photo shoot as their owners try to get them to pose in holiday sweaters.

There’s Max the dog, who won’t sit still.

Chloe, the grumpy cat.

Gidget, the camera hog.

Duke, the dog who thinks a Christmas tree is the perfect place to relieve himself.

Buddy, the dachshund who tries to attack a pesky elf (who’s actually just his back end).

And Snowball the rabbit who goes on a sugar rampage.

The film opens July 8, 2016. It features the voice talent of Lake Bell, Kevin Hart, Ellie Kemper, Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate, Albert Brooks, Dana Carvey, Steve Coogan, and Laraine Newman.
