Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund hosted a special premiere of “The Secret Life of Pets” for his doggie friends in Chicago. Of course Crusoe would be excited this movie, since there’s a dachshund named Buddy in the movie!
The social media star pooch shared a video on his Facebook page. “Here’s why I was in Chicago! 😀 I had so much fun hosting the pets-only red carpet movie experience for #BigGPets! Watch me and my friends strut down the ‘green-grass’ carpet.” ~ Crusoe
(And, as some Facbook commenters did, please don’t confuse this animated film with the extremely downbeat indie “Wiener-Dog,” another movie with a dachshund that is most definitely not for dog lovers!)
“The Secret Life of Pets” opens nationwide on July 8. It’s about what pet dogs, cats and birds do all day when their owners leave for work.
