The delightful “Paddingon 2,” in which our favorite Peruvian bear funs afoul of the law (and a hilariously hammy actor played by Hugh Grant), comes to DVD and Blu-ray on April 24.

The film scored a rare perfect 100% critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes (with 193 reviews!). It also earned BAFTA nominations for Outstanding British Film of the Year, Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor (the scene-stealing Grant).

Ben Whishaw returns to voice the extremely polite bear, as do Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins,  and Julie Walters as the Brown family. Joining the sequel are Grant, Brendan Gleeson and Peter Capaldi.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray include the featurette “Paddington: The Bear Truth.” The Blu-ray has additional featurettes, plus audio commentary by director and co-writer Paul King.

The first “Paddington” film is now streaming on Netflix.
