Angelenos and their dogs cross paths in the upcoming romantic comedy “Dog Days.”

The film stars Nina Dobrev (“The Vampire Diaries”), Vanessa Hudgens (“High School Musical”), Eva Longoria (“Desperate Housewives”), Finn Wolfhard (“Stranger Things”), Adam Pally (“Happy Endings,” “The Mindy Project”) and Tone Bell (“The Flash”) and comedian Tig Notaro. Ken Marino directs.

It’s in theaters August 8, 2018.
